As you'll find out in the dungeon, it's all about time. One of the clues there says: "In the hands of time, 12 + 12 = 12" — after all, if 12 hours pass after 12 o'clock, it's 12 o'clock again. So what if 9 hours pass after 14:00? Then it's 23:00, which is 11 o'clock. The answer is 11.
