C2 — Isle of Fire: Northwest

Corak's Notes

The Isle of Fire is a harsh domain of lava and scorching heat, impossible to traverse without enduring pain at every step. This northwest portion of the isle harbours a flaming portal through which Major Devils enter the lands of Terra — hidden within a thorny hut near the northern edge. Destroy it, and these demons will be banished from this realm forever.

The northwest region of the Isle of Fire is dominated by impassable volcanic slopes and lava flats. The enemies here — Major Devils and Dragon Worms — are among the most powerful in the game. Only a well-equipped, high-level party should venture this far.

The main objective is the Major Devil Lair (M1). The reward for destroying it is substantial, and eliminating the constant influx of devils makes exploring the rest of the Isle of Fire considerably safer.

In the southeast corner of this area (point 1) lies the entrance to the underground pyramid complex beneath the Isle of Fire — a critical location in the endgame. You will need a Gold Pyramid Key Card to enter.
