Central Control Sector

Against Foerdhal the Mad, two armies came. On one side, Sheltem — for his Sleepers fell like drunkards into Foerdhal's mind, robbing Sheltem of many secrets. On the other side, the Ancients — filled with indignant rage at the destruction of their underworld. Together they fell upon him like mountains on a fly. Stone oracles tell the story of the creation of the Isles and how they came to rest in the Great Sea of Terra. The Interspatial Transport Box — unique on all of Terra — waits here as a reward for courage.

Monsters in the area: Death Agents, Iron Wizards, Terminators Central Control Sector is located in world map area C2 — Isle of Fire: Northwest. It also provides access to the Main Control Sector.

Central Control Sector is in area C2 — Isle of Fire: Northwest at X15 Y0. From here a transport tube leads into the Main Control Sector.

The Terminator (1,000 HP, AC 100, speed 200, energy attack, 1,000–4,000 damage) is the hardest regular enemy in the game. They give 3,000,000 XP per kill — but they are also very hard to kill. If your party cannot reliably deal high damage, avoid direct confrontation and focus on your objectives.

The three crystal chalices (points 2–4) hold a brew of advancement — each one permanently raises Energy Resistance and grants 5,000,000 XP to the character who drinks it. All three together give a total of +75 Energy Resistance.

The chests (points 5–6) hold top-tier L6 items and large XP awards. The Interspatial Transport Box (point 7) is the only one of its kind anywhere on the Isles of Terra — it enables a form of teleportation otherwise unavailable.

The lithic heads in the southern corridor (point 8) hold Sleepers with secrets about four of the game's dungeons. Note: Iron Wizards stand in concealed alcoves of the same corridor — several may attack at once as you approach the heads.
